Cousins, 36, was expected to stay away from the Falcons’ practice with him said to be “desperate” to leave.
Head coach Raheem Morris even stated that he did not think he would show up during the NFL’s annual meeting in March.
He said: “I’m not going to be foolish to think that he’s going to show up for voluntary work.
“Right now, we’re dealing with a businesslike mode.
“We’re dealing with that type of feel. I don’t think he’ll be there.”
Morris did claim that if Cousins did turn up to training, then he would be more than welcome.
He added: “If he is, we’ll welcome him with open arms
“But I’m not going to be foolish enough to make myself get worked up and angry about Kirk Cousins missing voluntary workouts.”
ESPN have claimed that Cousins was at practice despite the arrival of Easton Stick.
The quarterback signed a contract with the Falcons to add to the options in that position.
