CUSTOMERS at Kroger can get a special limited-time offering this month.
It comes as the retailer seeks to help shoppers share the love this Valentine’s Day.
That’s why it partnered with DoorDash and Uber Eats for February, per a news release.
Kroger shoppers can get on-demand floral delivery at the chain’s over 1,700 locations nationwide until February 15 through Bloom Haus.
Bloom Haus is a floral brand owned and operated by Kroger that offers premium flowers and bouquets.
The floral arrangements are grown on farms that meet environmental standards, along with being certified by the Rainforest Alliance.
“Customers can place orders on DoorDash and Uber Eats to be prepared and packaged with care by in-store floral associates at Kroger’s Family of Stores, with delivery facilitated by couriers directly to customers doorsteps,” the release noted.
Kroger said it seeks to make Valentine’s Day and a “beautiful gesture of love and appreciation” easy and affordable for shoppers this year.
That’s why those who try the on-demand delivery option will get $20 off if they order through Bloom Haus and spend $40 or more.
Carlos Baldan, group vice president of Fresh Merchandising at Kroger, also noted that Kroger has several unique Valentine’s Day offerings on shelves in-store this year.
“Valentine’s Day is about celebrating the people who bring us love and joy from Valentines to Galentines, kids, and furry friends, Kroger has special gifts for everyone,” Baldan said in the release.
“Embrace the holiday with flowers, fresh dipped berries, heart-shaped sushi platters, and intricate charcuterie boards to spread the love this Valentine’s Day.”

CHECKOUT CHAOS
Kroger is showing its love to customers this Valentine’s Day after some serious backlash over its self-checkout.
Several have blasted some of the retailer’s locations for favoring the kiosks over cashiered lanes.
A Kroger customer recently found themselves in long lines due to most traditional checkouts being shut and called it the “worst idea ever.”
Another frequent shopper blasted the self-checkout area at their store as “horrible” after waiting for assistance for almost 10 minutes, and left $200 worth of groceries behind.
Someone else said they encountered a 12-item limit at their Kroger self-checkout area and begged the retailer to end the “ridiculous” move.
Kroger has also caused controversy over a recent bag change.
It even faces a lawsuit from Albertsons after a $24.6 billion merger fell through in December.
