Samsung has recently launched its foldable smartphone – the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. Now, if you are thinking that you will have to wait long for the next key launch by the tech giant. Samsung is reported to be preparing to launch the Galaxy S25 FE sooner than expected.
During its Q2 2025 earnings call, Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy S25 FE is in the pipeline and will likely launch earlier than last year’s Galaxy S24 FE. While there’s no official launch date yet, it’s expected to land sometime in August or early September, compared to the late September debut of its predecessor.
Samsung Galaxy S25 FE: What To Expect – Specifications, Features, More
The Galaxy S25 FE is tipped to bring some important upgrades over the S24 FE. Under the hood, it could feature Samsung’s Exynos 2400 processor, coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage options, some previous leaks suggested. It’s expected to ship with One UI 8 out of the box, based on the latest version of Android.
As for the display, the phone may sport a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with 1080p+ resolution, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+. It is just said to be 7.4mm thin and weighs around 190g. Talking about the photography, the Galaxy S25 FE is rumoured to have a 50MP triple camera setup on the rear, along with an upgraded 12MP front-facing camera.
The device is expected to pack a 4,900mAh battery, with support for 45W fast charging. The S25 FE could be available in multiple colour variants, including Icy Blue, Jet Black, Navy, and White. While Samsung hasn’t shown off the design officially, the FE series usually keeps a minimal design.
Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold: Is It Coming Too?
While the Galaxy S25 FE is grabbing early attention, Samsung also confirmed plans to launch its first tri-fold smartphone later this year, possibly named the Galaxy Z TriFold. Alongside it, the Project Moohan XR headset is also expected to make an appearance, aimed at expanding Samsung’s presence in extended reality.
