The Pixel 10 series is coming, and so are the leaks. The latest images show the Pixel 10 Pro, which looks a lot like the base model, but will offer a more muted colour palette.
The images, shared by Android Headlines, show what is reported to be the Pixel 10 Pro in a range of colours, including “Obsidian” and “Porcelain”.
There’s also a “Moonstone” option and a more vibrant “Jade” green with gold trim. The same site has also reported that the larger Pro XL will come in the same colour choices.
Picking our favourite of the bunch is easy. While the “Jade” green is nice, and far more subtle than the rumoured “Limoncello” for the Pixel 10, the “Moonstone” is the clear winner here, coming in as a mix between blue and grey. We think it looks great.
Google is getting ahead of leaks
The latest report comes after the base Pixel 10 was revealed in a leak earlier this week. Google then officially revealed the device, showcasing the back in a post on its Made By Google storefront.
The phone is likely to launch on August 20 alongside the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro XL, a durability-focused Pixel 10 Pro Fold and a Pixel Watch 4. It has been reported that the set of devices will be available for pre-order on the same day, with a release date coming on August 28.
The base Pixel 10 is rumoured to include a telephoto camera, unlike the previous model, however the camera specs themselves could disappoint. Rumours have suggested the main sensor will be plucked from the mid-range Pixel 9a, and the telephoto from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
The base Pixel 10 will come in colours including “Obsidian”, “Frost”, “Indigo” and “Limoncello”. The latter two are bolder hues than we’ve seen from Google before.
If the Android Headlines report is to believed, the PIxel 10 Pro will come with a 6.3-inch screen (that’ll change to 6.8-inches for the XL model) and a Tensor G5 chip.
The XL could arrive with a huge battery
What stands out the most about the leaks for the Pixel 10 Pro XL is the battery. It’s been suggested it’ll be a 5200mAh cell, making it the largest on a Pixel phone to date.
As we get closer to launch, more leaks are likely to emerge, and we could even see Google itself tease more of the design. of the phones.
