Mind the Game was co-produced by James’ media company Uninterrupted and Redick’s 342 Productions.
After nine episodes, the show was put on hiatus last summer when Redick landed the Lakers head coach gig.
With the 40-year-old having stopped media work following his move into coaching, James has turned to NBA legend Steve Nash to be his new co-host.
The first episode of Mind the Game’s new season will air on April 1.
It will be available on YouTube and Amazon Prime Video.
Nash, 51, is a two-time MVP and eight-time All-Star.
The Canadian played in the NBA for 19 years for the Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks and Lakers.
He subsequently worked with Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden as head coach of the Brooklyn Nets between 2020 an 2022.
Mind the Game was launched in order to try to elevate basketball discourse.
The show’s first season saw James and Redick dissect plays and focus on game’s Xs and Os.
It’s expected that Mind the Game will follow a similar template now with Nash onboard.
In the trailer, James and Nash each enjoyed a glass of wine during their discussion.
The clip begins with Nash admitting, “I’ve heard many people say you can’t make a blockbuster trade mid-season and contend.”
James, with a nod to the Lakers’ stunning move for Luka Doncic last month, did not agree.
“Oh they’re wrong,” he said before bursting out laughing.
Last year it was speculated that Redick landing the Lakers head coach gig had been part of the plan of launching Mind the Game.
This was later denied by the show’s producer.
In a nod to these rumors, James joked, pointing at Nash, “Real quick. If he gets a head coaching job, because, whatever…
“I had nothing (to do with it). We didn’t talk about this beforehand guys!
“But, two great minds though.”
