Announced this summer during Summer Game Fest, LEGO Horizon Adventures was this end of year’s amazing and surprising collaboration between Sony Interactive Entertainment, Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo. The objective was simple: to offer a game Horizon in the universe, the soul, the humor and the offbeat atmosphere of LEGO games.
Released in November on PS5, PC and Switch, the game fulfilled its objectives by offering a fun adventure for young and old. Although in terms of sales, this does not seem to be a success, especially on PC where the game had a worse start than a certain Concord. For the moment, we have not had any feedback regarding sales on PS5 and Switch. In any case, it seems that Sony is already thinking of bring its title to Xbox from 2025.
LEGO Horizon Adventures on Xbox very soon?
According to media sources JustPlayIt, Sony would consider a portage of LEGO Horizon Adventures on Xbox Series X/S for 2025 following quite disappointing results regarding sales of the PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch versions. For the moment of course, we must only rely on his statements without any real basis or proof.
Still according to JustPlayIt sources, the arrival of LEGO Horizon Adventures could even be “imminent” and occur at the end of 2024. Although the most likely depending on the media in question remains the start of 2025 in “shadow drop” without prior communication.
This relatively short timing would show that in reality, Sony had planned from the start to port the game to Xbox. The adaptation and optimization could not have been done so quickly. Although at the moment it is impossible to confirm this, the relatively short time frame will nevertheless allow us to have a response (very) quickly.
