FOOTY fans can access a number of Sky Sports channels completely free if they know where to look.
You won’t find them among the usual sports channels on your TV guide.

Instead, they’re hidden away at the furthest end of the channel numbers.
And it’s not just sports, there’s something for people who enjoy animals, emergency reality TV and the arts too.
Sky has had the channels around for sometime but they were only recently made available as a traditional TV channel with a number to key in on your remote.
The channels are only available this way on Sky Glass and Sky Stream – though there is an app on Sky Q you can get them on instead.
Among them is Sky Sports Classics, which shows Sky Sports Premier League archives with the likes of Premier League Icons and Premier League Legends.
There’s also Sky Sports Vault with archive darts, EFL and boxing content including 30 Years of The PDC World Darts Championship and Fight Night.
And Sky Sports Stories is the destination for sporting documentaries, including EFL Rivalries and Her Huddle.
If you have Sky Glass or Sky Stream you can find these and nine more bonus channels by entering the numbers on your remote listed below.
- Sky Sports Classics: 1001
- Sky Sports Vault: 1002
- Sky Sports Stories: 1003
- Pick: 1004
- Emergency 24/7: 1005
- Sky Artist of the Year: 1006
- NBC News NOW: 1020
- Billiards: 1021
- Great British Menu: 1022
- Homes Under The Hammer: 1023

If you’re a Sky Q customer fear not as you can access all of these and more through a little-known app.
Xumo Play has around 70 free extra channels.
The app is available on Sky Glass and Sky Stream devices too for those interested in some of the extra content.
