LOWE’S and other businesses will see temporary chain-wide closures later this month.
Customers should save the date so that the closures don’t disrupt their shopping plans.

Lowe’s will be closed to observe Easter Sunday to allow workers to spend time with their families.
The retail hardware and home improvement store will only be closed for 24 hours.
Other high-volume stores, including Costco, Sam’s Club, and Target are also expected to close for the holiday.
Ace Hardware will also be closed.
However, shoppers looking to meet their hardware needs on Easter aren’t completely out of luck.
The Home Depot is set to remain open on Easter Sunday.
Both Lowe’s and The Home Depot will remain closed for business on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
As of March 2025, Lowe’s operates 1,751 stores in the United States, according to ScrapeHero.
Texas is the state with the highest number of Lowe’s locations with 144, followed by Florida with 132.
The Home Depot, meanwhile, has 2,012 locations in the United States.
California has the highest number of The Home Depot stores, with a total of 233 locations.
Texas and Florida have 187 and 161 stores, respectively.
CLOSED ON SUNDAY
Last year, JCPenney, Kohl’s, and Target were all closed on Easter Sunday.
Macy’s, Michaels, and Marshalls also shut their doors for the holiday.
However, some retailers remained open.
In 2024, Walmart, Trader Joe’s, and Kroger all operated as usual.
LOWE’S IN THE NEWS
Lowe’s has introduced a new strategy comparable to Costco and Target that is designed to save customers money.
The chain has also introduced a new line of household essentials for only $5 or less.
These items include gloves, storage bins, grill brushes, plastic hangers, kneeling pads, and garden tools.
Shoppers can spot them at the front of the store, making them impossible to miss.
