A STELLAR offer on a SIM card sees you netting unlimited data for a very low price.
The deal starts you off with a temptingly low price of just £8 a month.

And that gets you unlimited minutes, texts and data too, with Currys-owned ID Mobile.
You can plonk that SIM in a smartphone of your choice, no matter whether you’ve bought it outright or you’re paying for it monthly.
The catch with this deal is that after six months, the price rises to £16 a month.
Unlimited data, £6 a month
But the total cost of this deal over its 24-month run is £336, which works out at £14 a month on average.
That’s not bad given that this is an unlimited-everything 5G deal.
It also has a bonus perk: you can use your UK allowances in 50 destinations.
The data will be capped at 30GB if you’re using it abroad however.
This plan also comes with the ability to roll over unused data.
SIM-THING NEW?
The other good news is that this plan also supports eSIM.
That’s the newer tech that lets you load a SIM onto your phone without having to physically insert anything.
It’s been available on the iPhone for a while.
And if you’ve bought Apple’s brand new iPhone Air, eSIM is actually your only option.
That’s because there’s no physical SIM tray on that model.

Apple has already entirely abandoned physical SIMs on the iPhone in the US.
But the new iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max still carry SIM trays – although they do support eSIM functionality.
Android rivals like Samsung and Google have also been offering eSIM capabilities on their Galaxy and Pixel phones respectively for a while now too.
Of course, you can still get a physical SIM with this deal.
