Throughout this year 2025, Microsoft will offer free online training to one million people in Spain in artificial intelligence skills. This initiative of the company is part of its training strategy, focused on advancing in training in the use of the responsible AI, and has been announced within the second edition of the Microsoft AI Tour Madrid.
According to data from the latest Microsoft Labor Trends report, only 39% of professionals have received training in AI from your company. To reduce this Microsoft digital talent gap is establishing agreements with companies, public administrations, social entities and educational institutions to facilitate access to training in artificial intelligence for free.
As part of this training initiative, Microsoft has established several agreements. Thus, in the Community of Madrid he will train 100,000 students in AI competencies, and thanks to an agreement with the Xunta de Galicia, he will train 45,000 employment applicants to improve their job opportunities.
On the other hand, Microsoft and Tourism of Andalusia have launched an initiative that makes available to the more than 450,000 employees of the tourism sector of Andalusia a free training in the responsible. Together with the Ministry of Industry, Trade Yu Turismo have initiated an action to facilitate training content at 50,000 SMEs. Through its agreement with Esplai Foundation, Microsoft has also encouraged the digital training of people in vulnerability to facilitate their integration into the labor market.
