The Green Bay Packers’ Lambeau Field is one of the most unique stadiums in football thanks to its location.
It isn’t in the middle of a packed downtown, and it isn’t hidden away miles from a city.
Instead, Lambeau Field sits smack in the middle of a residential neighborhood, with some family homes just steps away from the stadium.
It’s rare, but sometimes the homes near the stadium hit the real estate market, and sell for hundreds of thousands over value.
According to Zillow, one of these homes sold in November of 2024 for $800,000.
Just six years earlier, the home was valued at only $200,000.
The historic bricks lining the outside of Lambeau Field can be seen from the front door of the home that sold.
It isn’t even the most expensive home sold in the area either.
Another Green Bay home sold in December of 2024 for $920,000.
That home is further away from the stadium — albeit only an extra block or two — but it doesn’t feature the same view as the previously mentioned home.
Still, this home underwent a similar meteoric rise in price, going from $225,000 in it’s last sale in 2019 to $920,000 in the 2024 sale.
That is a $700,000 increase in just five years.
There is a thought that many of these homes are being scooped up to serve as rental homes for travelling fans.
However, Green Bay previously had an ordinance requiring all short term rental stays to be six nights at minimum.
That went into effect in July of 2024, but the legislation may have changed.

Homes on Airbnb in Green Bay can be rented for shorter terms than the previously mentioned six-night minimum.
There was plenty of demand for these homes during the NFL Draft too.
Over 200,000 fans travelled to Green Bay to watch one of the biggest sports events of the year.
Hundreds of rental homes were used by these fans in place of hotel rooms.
