The consultant Entelgy has conducted a survey to know the perception that Spanish workers of AI agents have in your day to day and in your professional environment. According to the results, the 60,2% of workers know their existence and positively values its use.
It is a figure that reflects a growing normalization of the concept of AI in society. Especially among younger workers, since those belonging to the age strip between 18 and 29 know in 73.3% of cases the existence of AI agents. 55.6% of respondents are willing to receive help from AI agents in their daily lives, and 61.8% see them as allies to facilitate their work tasks.
This does not mean that they blindly trust them, since a certain distrust also follows from the survey results. 54.7% would feel comfortable interacting with an Agent agent in important situations, but 37.7% would only participate in these situations, such as a medical consultation or legal advice, if you can contrast the answers with a person. 45.3%, directly, would not feel safe with the interaction with an AI, reflecting a very important need for human support.
Privacy remains a barrier of importance for the use of agriculture. Eight out of ten respondents are concerned about the possible collection of personal data that these systems can do. This concern, in fact, is one of the main obstacles to its full adoption.
With respect to the future, citizens adopt a position between cautious and fascinated. 64.1% believe that AI agents will end up replacing humans in some areas, and most consider that they still lack fundamental attributes to replace a person. 72.9% believe that they lack empathy, and 70%, morality or ethics. Only 6.3% believe that AI agents already have what they need to match the human being.
Yes there is some consensus regarding the areas in which these IA -based programs can improve user experience. Respondents highlight their usefulness, especially in entertainment (58.3%), customer service (47.4%), education (33.2%), medicine and health (29.5%), egurity (29.2%) and finance (26.5%).
