Many platforms have come for the streaming throne over the years, but Netflix continues its reign as the top video service. The platform has amassed countless original series and movies—everything from Black Mirror to the Glass Onion films—inspiring passionate fandoms along the way.
On Saturday, May 31, at 8 p.m. EST, Netflix takes a victory lap at its Tudum Live global fan event in Los Angeles. The show will feature a live performance by Lady Gaga. But you needn’t buy a ticket to attend. You can stream the company’s big night live from the comfort of your home. Here’s how.

What Is Tudum Live?
“Tudum” means several things in the Netflix universe. It’s the trademark noise that accompanies the company’s logo when it appears on screen, taken from the platform’s earliest series, House of Cards. It’s also Netflix’s in-house website that covers the platform’s films and shows from a fan perspective.
However, the Tudum I’m referencing is a live event: an annual, in-person fan showcase that celebrates existing Netflix content and offers a sneak peek at upcoming programming. According to its website, die-hards can expect “Netflix’s biggest stars, can’t-miss performances, jaw-dropping reveals, and unforgettable moments.”
Which Netflix Stars Will Appear at Tudum Live?
The show is hosted by Sofia Carson, star of Carry-On, Purple Hearts, and The Life List, but she won’t be the only celebrity in attendance. You can also expect to see Guillermo Del Toro (Frankenstein), Vanessa Lachey (Love Is Blind), Jenna Ortega (Wednesday), the stars of the live-action One Piece, and actors from Stranger Things‘ final season.

How to Watch Tudum Live With a VPN
Netflix has fans worldwide and already does a surprisingly good job introducing domestic viewers to international material. Just look at the universal appeal of South Korea’s Squid Game, which will also have a presence at the show.
If you want to watch Tudum Live outside of the US, your best option is a VPN. By spoofing your geographic location online, a VPN lets you watch streaming services as if you were in one country, even when you’re actually in another. However, Netflix tends to block VPNs as their functionality interferes with licensing deals. You can try your luck with our top picks for Netflix-friendly VPNs, but even these may be blocked in the future.
