Who are looking for a luxurious electric car with an avant -garde style They have many options in the market. However, a new proposal comes strongly and promises to make a difference: the Mercedes-Benz Cla, recently presented in Rome. This model, which we met as a concept in 2023, now materializes in a very ambitious and extremely interesting version.
In the words of the German manufacturer, it is the “smarter car than Mercedes-Benz has manufactured to date.” In addition, it is the first member of a new family of vehicles that stands out for its autonomy close to 800 km in WLTP cycle, its 800 volt electrical system and a refined silhouette that does not go unnoticed. Inside, technology is present to improve experience on board.

Technology and sophistication with the Mercedes seal
As we can see in the images, the new Mercedes-Benz Cla makes its character clear from the first glance. Its front is marked by an illuminated grill with the classic stars pattern. In the center, Mercedes’s emblem remains as the protagonistflanked by sharp LED headlights that give it a more aggressive look, but without losing the elegance that is part of the brand’s identity.
The new Mercedes-Benz Cla is offered in two versions that share the same design language, present differences in their performance that we will analyze below. The 250+ EQ CLA has a single rear engine and traction. It boasts a maximum power of 200 kW, a 335 nm motor torque and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. Its WLTP range reaches surprising 792 km.
Speaking of the 350 4matic CLA we find an AWD (All-Wheel Drive) system of double motor, a maximum power of 260 kW, 515 nm of the motor torque, an acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and a WLTP share of 771 km. Both versions share a maximum speed of 210 km/h, 85 kW battery and 800 volts allow you to recharge 320 kW and obtain 320 km of autonomy in just 10 minutes.
If we enter the interior, the prominence lies in an advanced info -detrimental system. The driver has a 10.25 -inch screen, which is handled through the renewed steering wheel controls, while in the central console a 14 -inch touch screen stands out. In addition, the companion can count on his own screen in front of the panel (optional).
Everything works with Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS), which integrates third-party technologies such as Google Gemini for the voice assistant and OpenAi GPT-4o for general knowledge. The system is capable of detect the mood of the driverattend the search for parking and remember conversations along with their context. In addition, all processing is carried out locally, without depending on the cloud.
Price and availability of the new Mercedes-Benz Class
Mercedes-Benz has not yet revealed the prices of the new 250+ EQ and Cla 350 4matic EQ, but we know that its arrival to the market is scheduled for the summer and that it is available in Spain. What is certain is that the brand will not abandon its combustion customers, since it will also offer versions with gasoline engine. However, we will have to wait a few months to learn more about these variants.
