In a recent report, the company has now advanced the Direct Message (DM’s) and gave them an overall exciting feel.
Now users can do more than just send messages to their loved ones. It introduced a slew of exciting upgrades to its DM feature. Users can now schedule, translate, and share music to the DM’s of their friends, family, and loved ones. By introducing these updates, Instagram makes sure that the app’s messaging experience reaches the next level. Additionally, the app has introduced pinned content and group chat QR codes that will make sure that the users are connected seamlessly with their favorite person.

Translate DM’s:
The translate feature allows Instagram users to directly translate the Direct Message sent in any other language that they don’t know. The feature works in a way where if you receive a message in a language that you don’t know, then you can simply tap on the ‘Translate’ button next to the message. This way the translated message will appear just below the original message in your DM.
Share a Song:
This is one of my favorite features that Instagram introduced. Now you can share a song with the people that you are chatting with directly in their DM that too without leaving the chat. I have been waiting for this feature for long. You just have to open the sticker tray in the DM and then click on the ‘Music’ option. Now search for your favorite song and tap on the track. It will send a 30-second preview of the song to your favorite person.
Schedule Message:
Instagram has added a scheduling feature on the app that allows you to schedule any essential messages or reminders in the DMs. To schedule a message, you have to long press on the message and then select date and time that your message will be sent. At last click on the send button to finish the scheduling.
Pin Content in the Chat:
To recall, Instagram added the feature to pin any three important chat threads in your inbox. Now you can pin any essential message in the group chat to make it even easier to coordinate. You can pin any message, reel, GIF, meme, or image in the group chat by just holding down on the message and clicking on the ‘PIN’ option. In addition, you can also unpin the message by long pressing on the message and clicking on the ‘UNPIN’ option.
