OnePlus has officially confirmed that its next flagship – the OnePlus 15 – will launch alongside the OnePlus Ace 6 in China on October 17. The announcement came directly from OnePlus China President Li Jie, who shared the news on Weibo alongside a teaser revealing both smartphones side by side. The teaser shows the OnePlus 15 on the left and the Ace 6 on the right, confirming the company’s dual-launch strategy for tomorrow. The OnePlus 15 will be the first phone from the brand to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It will sport an OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and up to 165Hz refresh rate. Li Jie mentioned the brand skipped a 2K panel to balance efficiency and performance.
In terms of cameras, the OnePlus 15 is expected to offer a triple lens setup, featuring a 50MP Sony LYT-700 main sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide shooter. The device will be backed by a large 7,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The OnePlus Ace 6 will focus on performance and endurance. It is said to come with a 1.5K BOE OLED display offering a 120Hz refresh rate and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the Ace 6 will be powered by last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
The device is tipped to feature a huge 7,800mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging. Other expected features include a metal middle frame, an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
With just a day left for the launch, the OnePlus 15 and Ace 6 are shaping up to be the brand’s most performance-focused smartphones yet.
