OnePlus announced it’s entering the gaming smartphone space with its new Turbo series. This week, OnePlus unveiled a teaser trailer for the Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V models, confirmed to launch in China in January. One major selling point is clear: Each handset packs a massive 9,000mAh battery, the largest of all OnePlus phones to date and nearly double that of the Galaxy S25 Ultra or iPhone 16 Pro Max.
In a teaser video posted on Weibo, OnePlus gave us our first official look at the Turbo 6 series. According to a battery test conducted by New Review Technology (translated from Chinese) that OnePlus cited, the standard Turbo 6 can last up to 10 hours and 37 minutes of usage on a single charge. For context, our pick for the best gaming phone, the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro, packs a 5,800 mAh battery that lasted over 20 hours in our tests, beating out both the iPhone 16 Pro Max (17:17) and Galaxy S24 Ultra (16:45).
