Oppo has officially announced the launch date of the Oppo F29 series. The lineup consisting of two devices – Oppo F29 and F29 Pro, will be launched in the Indian market on March 20, 2025. The smartphones will be up for grabs via the e-commerce website Flipkart and the official website of Oppo. The Microsite of the devices has already revealed the design that we are going to see in the upcoming phones.
The Oppo F29 will have a squircle camera island consisting of dual-camera sensors along with LED flash. The Oppo F29 Pro will also get a circular camera island and it will also get dual sensors. The power button and the volume rockers are on the right spine of the device. We also get to see a center-positioned punch-hole cutout for selfie snapper along with thin bezels.
The series will come with a 360-degree armor body and the Sponge Bionic cushioning and absorb the impact of the same during falls to reduce damage. The smartphones will most probably carry IP66/IP68/IP69 certification for dust and water resistance. The Pro variant will ship in two different color options – Marble White and Granite Black. The base variant of the same will ship in Glacier Blue and Solid Purple color options.
Oppo F29 series expected specifications and features
The base variant from the series will come with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It will also have a variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. On the other hand, the Oppo F29 Pro will get 12GB RAM along with 256GB internal storage.
F29 will be powered by a 6500mAh battery along with 45W fast charging support. Apart from that, the Oppo F29 Pro will be powered by a 6000mAh battery along with 80W SuperVOOC charging support. All other details related to the smartphone are not yet revealed. Expectations are that we will get to know more about the same in the coming days.
