The cloud service provider OVHcloud has announced the launch of Data Platformdesigned to offer complete coverage of data -based business needs. Developed as Data management solution, and as a platform for analytics projectsallows its users to collect, store, process, analyze and visualize their data in a cloud confidence environment.
OVHCloud Data Platform allows to accelerate and simplify the life cycle of the data in various vertical sectors, including highly regulated industries. The services available on the platform range from data collection through the Lakehouse Manager to its process and storage.
Data Platform supports external sources, such as Object Storage, Apache Kafka, Clickhouse, Mongodb, MySQL, Oracle, HTTP/FTP, Google Analytics, Google Bigquery, Snowflake, X or Ovhcloud Api. In addition, it offers insights and command tables that can be shared through integrated applications dedicated or API.
The platform is adapted and optimized to operate within the OVHCloud solution portfolio. It is based on ANSI SQL or Python, in addition to various modern open source standards for data: Apache Iceberg, Spark, Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks, Tino, Superset, Prometheus and Kubernetes.
Since it is possible to access all Data Platform functions through a unique interface, it makes the platform suitable for organizations of all sizes. It acts as a complete data also designed to facilitate work between user groups. Combining the workflow of the platform with the AI Endpoints tool of Ovhcloud, its functions are improved in the face of document extraction, multimodal transcription, automatic data cleaning or abnormalities detection.
