RAIDS AI, a new AI safety platform that can detect and respond to rogue AI behaviour in real time has launched.
The platform works by monitoring AI behaviour and highlighting deviations in expected activity so that faults can be detected before they cause system failures or violate regulatory requirements.
The company behind the platform, founded by Nik Kairinos and Brett Stonefield, said it enables the safe and responsible deployment of AI.
A commercial launch of the platform is now ready, with the company having conducted beta tests in October last year.
“The platform has been nearly two years in development and is the result of hard work, rigorous testing, dedication from our team and partners, as well as valuable feedback from our pilot and beta test participants,” said Kairinos.
“We know that rogue AI can have devastating consequences from financial loss, reputational damage, personal hardship and even loss of life. AI has developed at such a rapid pace that we are left playing catch up in regulating and guarding against when it goes wrong.
“But AI failures are not unexplainable, mythical occurrences. They are engineering problems that can be solved. We are committed to enabling organisations to utilise AI responsibly and safely.”
