Launched on 13th May 2025, the Galaxy S25 Edge is the latest addition to Samsung’s flagship S25 series and incorporates some of our favourite aspects of its counterparts in an impressively lightweight model.
In fact, one of its standout features is that the Galaxy S25 Edge is just 5.8mm thick and weighs a teeny 163g. Even so, it still sports a 6.7-inch, AMOLED display that’s protected with Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 that’s promised to deliver “engineered resilience” for the Galaxy S25 Edge.
Flip the phone over and you’ll find two rear lenses, including a 200MP main that’s borrowed from the premium Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and a 12MP ultrawide which delivers macro photography too.
Like the rest of the S25 series, powering the Galaxy S25 Edge is Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, which promises speedy performance and enables the running of the entire Galaxy AI toolkit, from Circle to Search to Samsung’s photo editing features too.
Although we haven’t conclusively reviewed the Galaxy S25 Edge yet, in his first impressions with the phone, Mobile Editor Lewis Painter says “from a usability standpoint, it looks like Samsung could have a winner on its hands” as the brand has “packed in top-end tech”.
Finally, with a promise of seven years of Android and security updates, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge looks set to be a brilliant phone choice for 2025.
