At the head of PremiumFiber will be Blanca Ceña, a professional with more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications sector. Before being CEO of PremiumFiber, Blanca Ceña She has been CEO and President of Vantage Towers, in addition to holding various positions of responsibility at Vodafone Spain. Telecommunications engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Ceña has an MBA from the EOI, in addition to several postgraduate degrees from ESADE.
The rest of the management will be made up of Juan Luis Delgado, as General Legal Director and Secretary of the Board (until now General Counsel of MasOrange); Rafael Casquel (Financial General Director); and Norberto Ojinaga (General Director of Technology).
From PremiumFiber they assure that their network will provide notable advantages to MasOrange and Vodafone Spain customers, with reliable and stable fiber, as well as more speed for all connected devices, both at home and in the company. In addition, it will have a low latency level and will meet the highest security standards.
The new company will be owned by MasOrange with 58%, Vodafone Spain with 17% and GIC with 25%. MásOrange and Vodafone Spain will provide the company with around 12 million real estate units, as well as around 5 million customers. The network will be dedicated exclusively to both operators, who will also continue to maintain and operate the infrastructure that each has provided.
PremiumFiber meets the highest ESG standards and employs sustainable practices through the use of energy-efficient FTTH technology. Thanks to this, the network is designed to significantly reduce energy consumption. It is planned that the Closing of its creation operation takes place during this last quarter of 2025.
