DAK Prescott suffered a major blow in his bid to overhaul the Dallas Cowboys offence.
The team were snubbed by a top target who would’ve been a potent option at wide receiver.

Dallas finished 7-10 and third in the NFC East last season.
Prescott missed large parts through injury with Cooper Rush stepping in.
Cowboys boss Stephen Jones told reporters last month that the team would be “selectively aggressive” in free agency.
But one of their key targets on offence rejected the team in favor of a move elsewhere.
Cooper Kupp, 31, was released by the Los Angeles Rams after they failed to find a suitable trade.
He held talks with the Cowboys last week, ESPN’s Adam Schefter revealed.
But the wide receiver eventually opted to join the Seattle Seahawks on a three-year deal worth $45 million.
Speaking on The Adam Schefter Podcast, he revealed, “Last Thursday, the Cowboys reached out about Cooper Kupp and they were interested.
“Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, who I understand it, were on the phone with Cooper Kupp talking to him about the idea of coming to Dallas, and it was floated out there.
“And then the Cowboys heard the numbers, and they were at numbers that the Cowboys weren’t going to get to.”
Kupp, 31, won the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams at the end of the 2022 season.
He was Super Bowl MVP and has been one of the league’s top receivers in recent years.
Kupp led the league in receptions, yards and touchdowns during a brilliant 2021 campaign.
That saw him named Offensive Player of the Year.
But he was informed by the Rams that they intended to move on from him at the end of the 2024 season.
The team couldn’t find a trade for Kupp and ended up cutting him during free agency.
Prescott recently sent a touching message to backup quarterback Rush, who left for the Baltimore Ravens.
Rush had a 9-5 record in Dallas when stepping in for the injured Prescott.
The three-time Pro Bowler Prescott re-shared a post on his Instagram story from an account announcing the signing.
The post displayed Rush in his Cowboys uniform with the world “SIGNED” behind him.
“Thank you brother [heart emoji],” Prescott captioned his own message.
