Qt 6.10 is now available as the latest feature update to this open-source and cross-platform toolkit.
Qt 6.10 adds a native PipeWire audio backend, Chromium extensions support in the Qt WebEngine, and a variety of other enhancements:
– A native PipeWire audio back-end is added to the Qt Multimedia module.
– The Qt WebEngine module added support for Chromium extensions.
– Qt Graphs received a number of improvements for its 2D graphs capabilities, such as for hover support and multi-axis support.
– Qt GUI’s QRhi has added support for enumerating 3D graphics adapters when running on Direct3D 11/12 or Vulkan.
– Performance improvements for QGrpcHttp2Channel.
– Various accessibility improvements.
– Adding the lottietoqml tool for converting Lottie files to Qt Quick scenes in QML. There is also a VectorImage plug-in to enable loading Lottie files directly in addition to SVG.
– Support for 16KB page sizes on Android.
– Wayland session management.
– Graphics reset notifications that can be used by the likes of KDE KWin.
– Yocto 5.2 support with Boot to Qt.
