Redmi Turbo 4 has been making headlines for a long time now. And the latest leaks related to the smartphone suggest that the device will make a debut next year in the first half with a MediaTek processor. The device has been pretty recently spotted on Geekbench where a few key specifications of the same have also been revealed. It will be first launched in the Chinese market and then after a while, we will get to see the device in the global market.
Redmi Turbo 4 expected specifications
A Redmi phone with no moniker has been spotted on the Geekbench listing carrying model number 24129RT7CC. Speculations are that the device is the prototype of Redmi Turbo 4. The device scores around 1,649 points in the single-core tests and around 6,342 in multicore tests. The RAM of the device mentioned in the listing is 14.96 GB. At the time of launch, we could get to see 16GB RAM in the device.
Apart from that, the listing also suggests that the Redmi Turbo 4 will be based on the Android 15 operating system. Now, the octa-core processor of the device has been codenamed Rodin. The chipset has a 4+3+1 architecture and a clock speed of 3.25GHz. The mentioned configurations are pretty identical to the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 processor.
Previously, it has also been confirmed by Redmi that the Turbo 4 is going to be the first device to ship with the recently launched MediaTek 8400 processor. The Redmi Turbo 3, which was launched in April 2024, was rebranded in the global market as Poco X6 Pro. Keeping that in mind, we can get to see Redmi Turbo 4 as the Poco X7 Pro in the global market. All other details of the device have not been revealed yet. Expectations are that we will get to know more once Redmi announces something officially.
