The 28-year-old joined the Seattle Seahawks this offseason to be their quarterback for 2025.

He faced a barrage of criticism towards the end of last year after his playoff performance.
Darnold had an incredible regular season, going 14-3 in the NFC North.
However, he was awful in the postseason, losing 27-9 to the Los Angeles Rams.
It was a disappointing Wild Card Round exit, that essentially ended his time with the franchise.
The QB admitted it was “tough to swallow” leaving the Vikings.
“For lack of a better term, we laid an egg as an offense,” Darnold told the Athletic.
“And I think, for me personally, that sucks.
“I felt like we were a really good team.
“But at the end of the day, and this is gonna sound a little pessimistic, but when you get to the end of it and you don’t win the whole thing, you failed.
“I feel like I could have played way better, to be completely honest with you.
“I feel I didn’t play up to my standard. I truly feel that way.
“I feel like if I would have just played better, I would’ve been able to give the team a chance.”
Darnold signed a one-year, $10 million deal with the Vikings in March 2024.
He become their starter, and proved the NFL wrong with an incredible regular season.
The quarterback came in for JJ McCarthy, who missed 2024 through a season-ending injury.
Darnold put together a career-high 4,319 passing yards and 35 touchdowns.
He also got his first ever Pro Bowl selection.
McCarthy was seen as the Vikings first-choice for 2025, which saw an end to Darnold.
He has now signed a $100 million, three-year contract with the Seahawks.
“I learned a lot last season, from those two games especially,” added Darnold.
“At the end of the day, you go through those experiences, you learn, and you get better.
“I try every single day to get better. That’s it.”
