Samsung Health is getting a content boost with premium iFIT workouts now live in the app’s Fitness tab.
Samsung has announced that there’s a free tier and a paid tier so everyone can sample one on-demand video per month in seven categories, including HIIT, Pilates, yoga, strength, recovery, barre, and mindfulness, while the full iFIT catalogue with hundreds of videos and regular additions costs $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year.
If you’re in the U.S. and picking up new Galaxy hardware, Samsung Health includes time-limited promos with 30 days of iFIT for select Galaxy smartphones, three months with Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, and six months with Galaxy Watch8, Watch8 Classic, or Watch Ultra. You redeem these in the app after purchase.
To get started, update Samsung Health, open the Fitness tab, and look for the iFIT workouts row. You can press play on a free session to try the format, or subscribe in-app for the full library. If you wear a compatible Galaxy Watch (Watch4 or newer), the workout overlay shows core stats as you go, which keeps everything in one place.
“Our collaboration with iFIT highlights Samsung’s unwavering commitment to preventive health and fitness for all,” said Drew Blackard, Senior Vice President of Mobile Product Management at Samsung Electronics America. “Through Samsung Health, we aim to provide highly personalized fitness experiences that empower individuals to adopt healthier behaviors and enhance their well-being. By integrating iFIT’s engaging workout content created by professional trainers, we are jointly shaping the future of personalized connected fitness.”
In short, Samsung Health now covers more than tracking. You can follow pro led workouts, see your watch metrics in context, and if it clicks, upgrade to a bigger class library, with some device buyer perks to sweeten the first months.
