Samsung Galaxy Edge has been making a lot of headlines since its announcement in the Galaxy Unpacked event. In a recent report by SamMobile, it has been confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will get the aluminum frame and the rear panel material of the device will also be changed as compared to other smartphones from the series. It is being said that the phone will get a ceramic material back panel along with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
This will serve as a medium to improve the durability of the phone and it may also help in reducing the weight as well. And the same aligns with the ambitions of Samsung to drop a device that is slim in nature. According to the reports, the device could ship with a chassis as thin as 5.84mm. With the launch of Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, the South Korean giant is eyeing to compete with the upcoming iPhone 17 Air which is also being dubbed a slim offering from the Cupertino giant.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge expected specifications and features
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will most probably feature a 6.66-inch AMOLED display along with a high refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor similar to other variants from the Galaxy S25 series. The device will get a 12GB RAM variant along with 256GB internal storage.
At the time of launch, we can get to see more variants based on RAM and storage for the smartphone. It will sport a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 200MP primary shooter. The handset will pack a 3900mAh battery along with 25W wired fast charging support. All other details regarding the smartphone are still under wraps. Speculations are that we will get to know more about the same once Samsung announces something officially.
