Samsung cannot just stop competing with Apple in every way possible. And to compete with the Apple iPhone 17 Air, the brand is reportedly bringing the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim next year. As claimed in leaks, the smartphone is going to be the thinnest flagship-tier device. In a recent development, popular tipster Gadgetsdata has shared the specifications of the smartphone on X.com (formerly Twitter).
Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim expected specifications
As per the post shared by Gadgetsdata, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is coming with a 6.6-inch display. Now, if the leaked details hold any truth, the smartphone will get the same display panel as the Galaxy S25+ variant. The series will also bring Samsung Galaxy S25 and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra to the January 2025 event. Coming back to the leaked specifications, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor to offer high-octane performance.
It has also been revealed that the smartphone will house a powerful battery. Keeping the slim thing in mind, the Galaxy S25 Slim will bring a battery ranging between around 4700mAh and 5000mAh. The handset will most probably bring a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 200MP HP5 primary shooter, a 50MP JN5 UW secondary shooter, and a 50MP JN5 3.5X telephoto shooter. One thing which we are already sure of is that the device will offer one of a kind camera performance.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will have a thickness of around 7mm as claimed by tipster Ice Universe. The dimension is thicker than iPhone 17 Air but still a major development without a doubt. Another major thing related to the device is that it will not launch along with the Galaxy Unpacked event in 2025. There are chances that the device will be launched in the second quarter of 2025.
