Samsung giving away ‘free phones’ in special Christmas deal with mobile giant

A CRACKING Christmas deal on Samsung phones gets you “two mobiles for the price of one”.

The Korean tech giant has teamed up with a UK phone network to do what it calls a “buy-one-get-one-free” on top smartphone models.

You’ll be able to bag a bonus smartphone from EE if you buy the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.

As part of the promotion, Samsung is chucking in a Galaxy S25 Edge deal to go with your Ultra.

So the deal works by you purchasing a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is £30 upfront with a £48 monthly bill.

This is down from the usual £65 monthly price (a £17 monthly discount).

And it’s the 256GB storage version of the phone on a 36-month contract.

Then you’ll be able to pair a Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge for £1, and with a £15-a-month contract plan for your data.

You can choose a higher data package if you’d rather, as this will only get you 5GB to use each month.

According to EE, you’ll be saving £833 against the cost of the S25 Ultra, and a bonus £1,098 against the S25 Edge if you buy them together.

To claim the offer, you’ll need to have bought both devices between December 5 and December 17.

Once you complete the S25 Ultra order, you need to call 08000791126 before December 17.

It’s at this point that you’ll buy the S25 Edge to pair with your S25 Ultra.

SAMSUNG PHONES EXPLAINED

The first chunk of this deal is the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

This is a top-end Samsung smartphone and normally costs £1,249.

It has a 6.9-inch QuadHD+ 120Hz display, comes with a triple camera array on the back, and is built with a tough titanium frame.

And it comes with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, which is a slimmer handset priced at £1,099.

It’s strikingly svelte at just 5.8mm, far thinner than the 8.2mm Ultra.

And it weighs a feathery 163 grams, which is less than the Ultra’s 218 grams.
