Android tablet fans will have a few new options comes April 10 when Samsung upgrades its Galaxy Tab lineup with the S10 FE and S10 FE+.
These midrange tablets are the successors to the Tab S9 FE and FE+, the latter of which we found to be an excellent device. The latest versions look very similar on the outside, but feature a few internal differences that account for the difference in price—$499.99 for the S10 FE and $649.99 for the S10 FE+. Here’s how they compare.

Samsung’s Exynos 1580 chip powers both tablets, which are available in two configurations: 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The S10 FE series also supports microSD cards up to 2TB, so space should not be a problem.
To stay connected, the S10 FE and FE+ support 5G (sub-6GHz only), Bluetooth 5.3, one eSIM, one physical SIM, and Wi-Fi 6.
Samsung continues to make its devices tough — the FE and FE+ are IP68-rated like the Tab S9 FE series, so they are dustproof and can handle being immersed in water for up to 30 minutes. For security, the S10 FE series has a fingerprint sensor in the power button.
To further differentiate itself from the competition, each device comes with an S Pen in the box; both devices are available in blue, gray, and silver.

The S10 FE series also shares similar software. Like modern Galaxy devices, the new tablets run on Android 15 and include Circle to Search with Google, which allows you to get more information about what’s on your screen or audio. Object Eraser and Best Take (replace faces for better group pictures) are on board for photography. Auto Trim automatically creates an edited piece from your videos. You can also call up an AI assistant with a dedicated button on the optional Book Cover Keyboard accessory.
Tab S10 FE Series: What’s Different?
The only major spec differences between the two devices are the screen size, dimensions, weight, and battery size.

The S10 FE+’s 13.1-inch LCD is 12% bigger than the previous generation’s 12.4-inch display. It also has a refresh rate of up to 90Hz and a peak brightness of 800 nits. For power, the FE+ packs a 10,900mAh battery that also charges at up to 45W.
