SAP announced on Friday that it has reached an agreement to acquire SmartRecruiters from the recruitment software company.
In a press release, the European software giant said that SmartRecruiters will “powerful, user-friendly interfaces and seamless workflows” complete the existing HR tools from SAR.
Muhammad Alam, the member of the SAP Executive Board, who leads product and engineering, said in a statement that with this takeover “customers will be able to manage the entire candidate – living cycle – from sourcing and interviewing to Onboarding and beyond – all in a single system for recruiters, tenants and in the special candidates.”
The conditions of the acquisition were not announced. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year.
The last announced financing round of SmartRecruiters was a series E of $ 110 million in 2021, which appreciated the company to $ 1.5 billion.
