Taking up the same counter space as a single-drawer model, the Double Stack XL has two drawers, mounted one on top of the other. With each drawer offering 4.75-litres of cooking space, there’s a massive 9.5-litres of total space.
Not only that, but the two-layer cooking means that you can cook four different items at the same time, or even double up on capacity. In my Ninja Double Stack XL Air Fryer review, I was impressed by how easy the air fryer was to use, its cooking quality and flexibility.
Each drawer can be used independently, or they can be set to use the same function (for extra capacity), or you can use two different cooking modes and have everything finish as the same time, which is exceptionally clever.
Thanks to the sturdy handles, the drawers are easy to remove for serving food and to give everything a quick shake in the middle of cooking. The only minor issue is that the two-layer cooking options makes it a bit harder to turn food, but a set of silicone tongs come in handy here.
I gave this air fryer a five-star review when it was full price; at this new lower price, it’s an absolute bargain. If you want a dual-drawer air fryer but don’t want to loose a lot of kitchen counter, this is the one for you.
