If you have a PC, an Xbox Series, a PS5 or a Nintendo Switch, you can easily access many games from the Final Fantasy license. Enough to satisfy both nostalgic players and those preferring to immerse themselves in recent AAAs, although FF7 Remake and Final Fantasy 16 are still absent on Xbox Series.
Before fully satisfying owners of Microsoft consoles, Square Enix decides to expand the choice of players on Apple Arcade. New Final Fantasy are arriving on the Apple brand’s subscription service.
Final Fantasy games coming to Apple Arcade in December and January
Apple Arcade is enriched with several new titles and not the least. The 3D remake of Final Fantasy IV will join the subscription service from December 9. This is therefore not the version included in Final Fantasy: Pixel Remaster, but rather an ambitious reissue of the 1991 game including modern graphics and voice acting.
In addition to Final Fantasy IV (3D Remake) +, Apple Arcade will also host its sequel Final Fantasy IV: The After Years+. This is a real big piece published in 2008, concluding the significant story of this episode particularly appreciated by fans of the series. You should therefore not neglect it once FF IV is finished, if you like the game.
Square Enix does not intend to stop there and will also publish the Pixel Remaster version of the very first Final Fantasy on Apple Arcade from January 9, 2025. Suffice to say that many hours of play are available to you in the coming months just with these new FFs. Square Enix will probably publish other old Final Fantasy games on Apple Arcade in 2025. In addition, a certain Trials of Mana (the 3D remake) will also join the subscription service early next year.
Of course, the highlight of the show would undoubtedly be the announcement of a release of FF7 Remake and FF16 on Xbox Series. You must continue to be patient if you hope to experience the adventures of Cloud and Clive on your Microsoft console.
