US-based radiology software provider Sirona Medical has added nine new practices to its Unify radiology workflow solution.
The new users include Cascaid Health, Diagnostic Medical Group of Southern California, Kansas Imaging Consultants, Jacobson Memorial Hospital, Newport Diagnostic Center and Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg.
Sirona Medical said these practices had recognized the benefits that a unified, cloud-based platform could bring to radiology.
Kansas Imaging Consultants radiologist and vice president Dr. John Anderson said, “Sirona is uniquely positioned to provide the tools that independent practices like ours need to thrive in today’s radiology landscape.
“Their cloud-native unified platform is essential to our continued growth and success.”
The platform is Sirona Medical’s flagship product and was launched a year ago.
Unify offers reporting, image archiving and communication (PACS), diagnostic display and a universal work list.
The platform features advanced AI capabilities, such as impression generation, and is designed to streamline operations and reduce the complexity of technology management within radiology practices.
Sirona Medical expects that approximately twenty new practices will go live on the full Unify platform next year.
Sirona Medical founder Cameron Andrews said: “In 2018, Sirona embarked on the most ambitious software engineering of radiology since digitalisation.
“A year after we publicly launched Unify, it is clear that all practices – large and small, private or public, hospitals and healthcare systems – are ready for something new from their radiology IT software.
“Unify’s explosive growth since launch represents the dawn of a new, cloud-native era in radiology IT software, which Sirona has been building towards for almost seven years.”
Sirona Medical’s modern workflow platform aims to simplify operations for radiologists by consolidating clinical software into a single platform.
It also focuses on simplifying data security and access, providing real-time monitoring, enabling seamless integration of AI algorithms, and supporting continuous innovation and updates.
“Sirona Medical adds nine new practices to its Unify radiology workflow platform” was originally created and published by Hospital Management, a brand owned by GlobalData.
