SKY Q customers may not have realised that there’s a little-known app on their boxes that unlocks more than 70 extra channels.
The hidden feature even has Sky Sports channels to watch instantly.

Last year the company released Xumo Play, an app with content streamed to your TV instead of relying on a satellite dish.
It launched on Sky Glass and Sky Stream first.
But it was quietly added to Sky Q too in October, and some viewers may have missed it.
There are three Sky Sports branded channels on the service showing previously aired much-loved shows.
This includes Sky Sports Stories with documentaries, Sky Sports Classics with special content from the archives such as Premier League Icons and Premier League Legends, plus Sky Sports Vault for archive darts, EFL and boxing.
The offering changes occasionally too with different themes.
Just recently, Pick Monkey Rescue was added with episodes of the Monkey Life series, set in the Monkey World rescue and rehabilitation facility in Dorset.
Away from Sky’s brands, there are channels devoted to iconic classic shows too.
Among them is a 24/7 Xena: Warrior Princess channel.
When Sky first announced the launch of Xumo Play it said some of the streamed channels will eventually be integrated into the TV guide.
Virgin Media has already started doing this with streamed channels it provides access to.
The rival’s TV products also have an evolving range, having recently confirmed to The Sun that food and cooking channel Tastemade will disappear on March 31.
Fortunately, Virgin bosses spoke about as many as 50 so-called FAST – free ad-supported TV – channels potentially coming in the future.
