THOUSANDS of Spotify fans are unable to access the popular app due to a mysterious outage.
A huge spike in issue reports was picked up by the Down Detector website at around 2.30pm / 9:30am ET.
More than 10,000 reports were logged from the UK at its peak and over 30,000 from the US.
It’s not yet clear what has caused the issue.
Spotify has spoken out about the problem, warning subscribers via their X support account.
But the company hasn’t said when we can expect a fix.

“We’re aware of some issues right now and are checking them out!” the firm said.
Spotify is the world’s most popular music streaming app with more than 713 million users.
According to reports, people are unable to browse their library, nor can they play any music and podcasts.
Understandably, many were dismayed to find their account not working.
“Spotify come back! You’re an integral part of my daily routine you can’t just go down like that,” one desperate user wrote on social media.
“Of all the days Spotify chose to be down it had to be a Monday:(” another commented.
Just after 3pm, reports on Down Detector started to drop drastically, suggesting a fix may have been issued.
If you’re having problems with your Spotify, try force closing the app and reloading it to see whether that resolves everything.
