Hey Hackers,

Cosmonova Broadcast has been nominated in HackerNoon’s annual Startups of The Year awards in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Read more about us below to understand why we deserve your vote:

Meet Cosmonova Broadcast

Cosmonova Broadcast is a cutting-edge telecommunications company providing worldwide cloud-based storage, management, and delivery solutions for TV channels, rights holders, and online media. We help broadcasters handle peak loads, optimize content distribution, and ensure seamless streaming experiences.

How Cosmonova Broadcast achieved product-market fit

At Cosmonova Broadcast, we empower media businesses with IT and cloud-based solutions. From channel creation, content management, and streaming to AI-driven voice translation, we provide a comprehensive, scalable, and future-proof media infrastructure.

Key indicators of product-market fit:

  • Long-term partnerships with major media companies and global streaming providers
  • Scalability and flexibility – our cloud-based approach allows clients to pay only for the tools they need
  • Adoption of AI-driven voice translation, helping broadcasters expand multilingual content distribution.

Our journey involved significant iterations, leading to what we are today.

Initially, we provided standard telecommunications services but quickly adapted to serve the media industry’s growing need for digital content storage and streaming.

We expanded beyond Ukraine, placing our infrastructure across Europe and increasing our client base to over 300 TV channels and 800 operators within 47 countries. While we haven’t pivoted in the traditional sense, we have significantly expanded our services to align with industry needs. Originally focused on telecommunications, we evolved into a comprehensive media solution provider, integrating AI-driven technologies into our services and expanding into licensed content distribution.

User feedback played a crucial role:

  • Clients sought a one-stop platform, leading to our shift towards an integrated ecosystem of services, operating on a SaaS model, where they pay for only the tools they use.

  • Additionally, responding to client demand for streamlined content distribution, we expanded beyond purely technical distribution support. Now, in addition to providing the technical aspect for content delivery, we also represent licensed content, simplifying operations for our clients.

  • To further enhance media accessibility, we integrated an AI-powered dubbing option in our COSMO | PLAYOUT platform, enabling seamless multilingual content adaptation for global distribution.

  • These are only a part of the solutions in response to our client’s requests. We work to cut down their operations and make it easier.

Milestones and achievements

Key milestones in our journey:

  • Secured major broadcasting partnerships, including live broadcasting support for tier one events like the Summer Olympic Games and the Eurovision Song Contest.
  • Launched AI-driven voice translation services, expanding multilingual content capabilities for TV and streaming.
  • Became a trusted partner in handling peak-load streaming and ensuring high-quality media delivery for global audiences.

Lessons learned

Biggest challenges and takeaways:

  • Adapting to an evolving media landscape – The industry rapidly shifted toward digital streaming, AI-driven content distribution, and hyper-personalized experiences. Staying ahead required constant innovation and investment in scalable cloud solutions.
  • Expanding globally while maintaining compliance – Managing regulations across different markets required strong legal frameworks and technical adaptability.
  • Building long-term trust with clients – We learned that transparency, reliability, and real-time support are just as important as cutting-edge technology. Of course, our 99.97% SLA is important as well 🙂

What Startups of The Year means to us

Cosmonova Broadcast is shaping the future of media technology. This initiative is a great opportunity to:

  • Showcase our breakthroughs in media distribution and AI-driven content solutions.
  • Connect with innovators and potential partners in the media tech space.
  • Gain visibility in the global startup and tech community.
  • We believe that the future of broadcasting lies in seamless, AI-powered, and scalable content delivery.

Conclusion

At Cosmonova Broadcast, we are committed to driving the future of media technologies by providing scalable, AI-powered, and seamless content distribution solutions. Our journey from telecommunications to a comprehensive media solutions provider reflects our adaptability, innovation, and dedication to empowering broadcasters and streamers worldwide. Through HackerNoon’s Startups of the Year, we aim to connect with industry leaders, showcase our breakthroughs, and continue shaping the next generation of media technology.
