The Tecno Camon 40 series is soon going to launch globally and we can get to see devices most probably in the MWC 2025. The company has also announced that the series will get a Universal Tone card. The Tecno Camon series will be launched somewhere between March 3 and March 6, 2025. The first batch of the devices will get Universal Tone skin shades. For those who don’t know, a tone card has different skin shades and acts as a reference tool to analyze and ensure portraits taken from the Tecno phone have accurate skin tones.
Tecno Camon 40 Series expected specifications and features
The Tecno Camon 40 series will consist of four smartphones – Tecno Camon 40, Camon 40 Pro 4G, Camon 40 Pro 5G, and Camon 40 Premier 5g. The base and Pro variant from the series will get a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and the Premier variant will get a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Apart from that base variants, all three phones will most probably get a curved display.
The Tecno Camon 40 Premier 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor paired with 8GB RAM. On the other hand, the Camon 40 Pro 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor paired with 8GB RAM. Last but not least, the Camon 40 4G and Camon 40 Pro 4G will be powered by Mediatek Helio G100 Ultimate processor.
As for the sensors, we will get to see a 50MP primary shooter and an 8MP ultra wide-angle shooter in the 4G variants. Apart from that, the Tecno Camon 40 Premier 5g could sport a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter, a 50MP telephoto shooter with 3x zoom support, and a 50MP ultra wide-angle shooter. No other details related to the device have been revealed until now. Speculations are that we will get to know more about the same in the coming days.
