Tencent-backed Chinese single-player game Tides of Annihilation unveiled a new gameplay demo at Microsoft’s global Xbox Showcase last Friday. Developed by Chengdu-based studio Eclipse Glow Games, the title draws on Arthurian legends and will launch as a buy-to-play game on PC and console platforms. The demo shows protagonist Gwendolyn teaming up with former rival Lamalock in a realm beyond London to face powerful foes in a mirrored dimension. The latest build features an updated combat interface, with the boss health bar, inventory, and character status indicators displayed together to improve the player experience. No official release date has been confirmed, though earlier reports suggest the game may launch in late 2026 or in 2027. [Tides of Annihilation, in Chinese]
