CHRISTMAS Day might be behind us, but the fun doesn’t stop: it’s time for some Boxing Day tech deals.
If you didn’t get exactly what you wanted from Santa this year – or you pocketed some cash from a generous aunt – then it’s time for shopping. Plenty of the gear that didn’t end up under the Christmas tree is now on sale for rock-bottom prices. I’m The Sun’s resident tech expert, have been testing gadgets for years, and I’ve picked out some of the best deals worth casting an eye over.
There’s a mix of products here, from smartphones to headphones, laptops to games consoles, and a few clever accessories too.
And if you want to get fit in January, I’ve got you covered with a few health tech options.
EE
EE has quite the bumper crop of gadget deals this Boxing Day.
Nintendo Switch 2 bundle
Perhaps the headline offer is a Nintendo Switch 2 bundle with Mario Kart World.
The Switch 2 is Nintendo’s latest console – only out this year – and Mario Kart World is unsurprisingly the machine’s top new game.
The bundle is down to £409, which is £20 off the usual price. Nintendo deals are hard to come by, so this is a decent pick.

Samsung laptop
If you want a cheap laptop for you or a family member, you could do worse than a Chromebook.
Chromebooks run on Google’s Chrome OS (as opposed to Microsoft Windows) and they’re a great budget pick.
EE is selling a Samsung-made Galaxy Chromebook Go with an 11-inch screen for just £129.
That’s £170 off the usual price, so a worthy buy.

Fitbit Versa 4
If you’re like me and ate enough Christmas dinner for a family of four, you might be thinking about fitness for the new year.
So it might be a good idea to snap up EE’s Fitbit Versa 4 offer. The £179 smartwatch is down to £129, which is a decent price.
It’ll track your movement, heart rate, and has a screen to show you your metrics. And it’s even water-resistant to depths of 50 metres.
Fitbit Versa 4, £129
Sony ANC Headphones
Give yourself the gift of peace and quiet with Sony’s Active Noise Cancelling headphones.
This pair of WH-1000XM5 wireless headphones normally goes for £279, but the price has been cut to £229.
They’ll dim the ambient din around you, and last for 30 hours per charge.
Sony also reckons you’ll get five hours of playback from just 10 minutes of charging. Not bad.

Meta Ray-Ban Wayfarer AI glasses
My last pick from EE’s lot is the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer AI Glasses.
These smart glasses have a built-in camera so you can snap some first-person footage for your socials.
But they also have a built-in microphone and speaker system for calls or music.
What’s more, you can chat to the built-in Meta AI and even ask it questions about what you’re seeing with the camera. It’s basically a hi-tech upgrade for your face – now down £80 to £219.

AND AN AMAZON TIP
Here’s something to think about if you’re shopping on Amazon…
There’s a great website called CamelCamelCamel.
You can plug in any Amazon link and it’ll show you the pricing history for that item.
And it’ll also show you the lowest price ever, as well as the average sales price.
That way, you can tell how good a deal really is – and if it’s actually a deal at all.
There’s no fee for using the website, so give it a go here.

JOHN LEWIS
Two John Lewis deals have caught my eye this Boxing Day.
Sony PS5 Digital Edition
This Sony PlayStation 5 Digital Edition Slim is down to a strikingly low £289 (usually £429.99).
It comes with PlayStation’s very well-regarded DualSense joypad, which is easily one of the best controllers on the market.
It’s a great price of a very popular gaming machine – and comes just in time for next year’s big Grand Theft Auto 6 release.
Sony PS5 Digital Edition, £289
Meta Quest 3 512GB
Another great option is the Meta Quest 3, which is a fun alternative to a console.
It’s a mixed reality headset that lets you explore virtual worlds and play extremely immersive video games.
I think it’s brilliant value for money – there are loads of fun experiences to try in the headset, and it’s very simple to pick up with minimal technical expertise.
And now it’s down from £469 to £419, making it a very strong purchase.
Meta Quest 3 (512GB), £419
VODAFONE
If you’re in the market for a new mobile, there are a couple of great Vodafone Boxing Day offers.
iPhone Air
You can get Apple’s new iPhone Air (normally £999) for £46.98 a month with £40 upfront.
It’s the ultra-slim model that’s just 5.6mm for most of its body.
But it still manages to deliver a decent camera, powerful processing, serious durability, and very cool looks.
This particular deal nets you 5GB of data on a 36-month plan.
Vodafone says you’re saving £180 overall with this one.
iPhone Air, £46.98 a month
Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold
If you want something even showier, consider the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
It’s the company’s latest foldable smartphone, and it runs on Google’s extremely popular Android operating system.
This model will cost you £31 a month for £50 upfront on a 36-month 5GB data plan.
Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold, £31 a month
CURRYS
Currys has a nice selection of deals worth considering.
Dyson Airstrait Hair Straightener
Dyson is really best known for its vacuum cleaners, but it has quickly become a major force in the haircare industry too.
And this is a good option: a Dyson hairdryer that uses high-pressure air flow to straighten your hair.
That means no hot plates, which would normally cause heat damage.
It also dries and straightens at the same time, and regulates its temperatures on its own.
It’s down from £449 to £299 – a respectable £150 saving.
Dyson Airstrait Hair Straightener, £299
Sony Bluetooth Speaker
It’s easy to think of a portable speaker as a summer gadget.
But you’re indoors all the time in these cold winter months, moving from room to room – so it’s still a great pick.
And this Sony Ult Field 3 (in frosty white, no less) is down from £99 to just £60.
It has an ULT button for an extra bass boost, offers 24 hours of battery, and even has a reusable shoulder strap. It’s also waterproof!
Sony Ult Field 3 portable speaker, £60
SAMSUNG
Samsung is running a very tempting “holiday season” promotion that gets you cash back if you buy one of the company’s newer mobiles.
You’ll get a prepaid Mastercard worth up to £300 in your Samsung Wallet.
To get it, you’ll need to buy one of the following mobiles:
- Galaxy Fold7
- Galaxy Flip7
- Galaxy S25 Ultra
- Galaxy S25 Edge
- Galaxy S25
- Galaxy S25 FE
- Galaxy Flip7 FE
You can use the reward online or in-store anywhere where Mastercard is accepted.
So if you’re buying a Samsung phone anyway, it’s not a bad idea to bag this offer.
Just be warned: it only runs until January 29.
ARGOS
Argos has a brilliant fitness gadget deal you’ll want to think about snapping up.
Oura Ring 4
It’s easy to think that the only way to track your fitness with a smartwatch.
But Oura is trying to prove that wrong with its clever health-tracking smart rings.
Normally the Oura Ring 4 goes for £349, but Argos has it on offer for its “lowest price” at £249.
It can monitor upwards of 30 metrics including your activity, heart health, sleep, stress and women’s health too.
And it has a battery life of between five to eight days, which is decent.
Oura Ring 4, £249
DYSON
Dyson’s own website has loads of deals – in fact, it was quite hard to pick.
But there were two that I thought were worth a go.
Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute
First is the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute, which is a solid vacuum cleaner.
It has a hair de-tangling feature, 60 minutes of runtime, and is now down to £279.99.
That’s £100 off the usual price, making this one of the cheapest Dyson vacs out there.
Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute, £279.99
Dyson Supersonic Nural
The other standout deal is the Dyson Supersonic Nural, which is also £100 off.
That takes the price down to just £299.99.
Dyson hairdryers are very popular, and not by accident.
But this Nural model is particularly interesting because it uses a time of flight sensor to detect distance from your head.
That way, it can constantly adjust the temperature to make sure that it’s not burning your noggin.
And Dyson says this means your scalp retains moisture. Lovely.
