WIRED Featured Deals
The Most Affordable Theragun
The Theragun Relief is the last of Therabody’s 2023 devices, and it remains the cheapest so far—priced even lower than the Mini. For the price tag, you do miss out on some of the premium features, like the LCD screen, but it’s equipped with more than the average gym-goer needs. There are three head attachments (standard ball, dampener, thumb) and three speeds. Plus, it’s compatible with the Therabody app for guided warm-up and recovery routines. Battery life is a solid 120 minutes, and it’s lightweight, clocking in at 1.37 pounds.
The Best Theragun Is $100 Off
On sale or not, the Theragun Pro Plus is still a splurge, but if you train hard or just want the fanciest massage gun on the market, it earns its keep. Seven attachments, built-in vibration and heat, and near-infrared LED therapy. There’s also a guided breathwork mode, which syncs with its heart-rate sensor. It would be overkill for most people, but athletes and gym lovers will appreciate the upgrade.
Your Next Travel Essential Is on Sale
Therabody’s Black Friday sale brings one of my favorite skincare tools down to $140 (or as low as $136 at Amazon and Best Buy). It delivers both hot and cold therapy to help reduce puffiness, boost circulation, and enhance product absorption. The temperature stays consistent throughout the six-minute cycle, and a quick flash at the halfway point tells you when to switch sides. Unlike ice rollers that crack if you forget them in the freezer, the Depuffing Wand just requires a charge. It’s also a travel essential for me (TSA-friendly, too). The cold setting is clutch after long flights, but honestly, it’s just a soothing little ritual no matter where you are.
The Best LED Mask With Built-In Vibrations
Therabody recently launched a more affordable version of the TheraFace Mask—the TheraFace Mask Glo (on sale for $330, down from $380)—but after testing both, I prefer the OG. The Glo’s vibration modes feel more like a head buzz than relief. The original mask delivers a gentler, more comfortable massage with better coverage and pressure points around the brow, temples, and scalp. You can choose a three-minute targeted treatment or a nine-minute cycle through all three wavelengths. It’s lightweight, cordless, and even comes with a display stand (the Glo does not), which makes storage painless.
Time to Splurge on Compression Boots
I have tested many compression boots, and the JetBoots Pro Plus are the best performers on the market. The standout feature is the built-in infrared LED therapy, which helps reduce inflammation and accelerate muscle recovery. They’re still a splurge at $1000, but they’re more accessible with a $150 discount. If you’ve been considering compression boots, these are definitely the ones to purchase, and now is the time, too.
These SmartGoggles Are $40 Off
The SmartGoggles combine gentle heat, vibration, and massage therapy across your temples, eyebrows, and forehead, melting away any facial tension in minutes. The contoured padding conforms to your eyes, offering a weighted-like compression. They’re my go-to remedy when I’m nursing a headache, and while I’m (fortunately) not a chronic migraine person, they’re a soothing, blackout therapy to use in a quiet room. If you’re battling insomnia or just need some screen-free downtime before bed, this is an ideal way to ease into a restful sleep.
My Favorite Sleep Mask Is Under $100
After trying out several sleep masks, the TheraFace Sleep Mask is my favorite. The contoured padding is plush, and the adjustable strap stays in place, even when I toss and turn throughout the night. It features gentle vibrations with three different patterns designed to help lull your brain into sleep. The vibrations are so subtle that you barely notice them, which could be a positive or negative depending on your preferences. Also, it does produce some noise, which, again, may be seen as a plus or minus, depending on whether you appreciate a soft hum while trying to sleep.
This Muscle Stimulation Device Is $100 Off
The PowerDot Uno is also discounted ($190, $60 off), but the Duo is the better buy if you want to get the most out of TENS and NMES technology. Two pods mean you can treat both sides of a muscle group simultaneously, cut session times, and help the adhesive pads last longer. It’s Therabody’s most targeted stimulation device, designed to accelerate muscle recovery, boost performance, and ease pain. I did run into some connectivity issues in testing, but if you can tolerate the occasional glitch, the Duo is a useful recovery tool, especially for menstrual pain relief.
This Vibrating Foam Roller Is $40 Off
You can buy a foam roller for way less, but the WaveRoller offers five varying vibration frequencies to optimize the traditional experience. It also delivers deeper pressure to your muscles for maximum tension relief. Compatible with the Therabody app, you can follow guided routines for warm-ups and post-workout recovery. Ideal for improving mobility, boosting circulation, and reducing soreness.
This All-In-One Facial Tool Is $120 Off
Former reviewer Haley Sprankle said this skincare tool made her skin softer and brighter with consistent use. It includes detachable magnetic heads for microcurrent, percussive, and LED light therapy: blue, red, and infrared light. It’s also compatible with the TheraFace Hot and Cold Rings (sold separately), which offer cold therapy for puffiness and heat therapy for product absorption. If you can afford it and like to pamper yourself, this is an all-in-one tool that is a great alternative to the TheraFace Mask or Depuffing Wand.
