OnePlus released the OnePlus 13 globally in January of this year, several months after debuting the flagship in China in October. Here’s everything we know about the mid-generation update, the OnePlus 13T.
The OnePlus 13T will follow the current flagship OnePlus 13 and the mid-range OnePlus 13R as the third model to join the 13 series.

OnePlus 13T rumors
OnePlus referred to the new phone as “small and beautiful”, “small and strong” and “small screen big devil” in a previous Weibo post (translated by built-in Weibo’s translation tool) and reiterated this in the aforementioned product launch announcement.
The brand shared a promotional image and short video of the phone that showcased a fresh design, including a new square camera module, the smaller screen and three colours – black, pink and gray/silver.
The video also teases the programmable button on the left side of the phone that will replace the alert slider as announced by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau in March.
“Imagine a button that adapts to you. Whether you’re a power user or prefer simplicity, this button works for you, not the other way around. Wherever life takes you, it seamlessly fits your lifestyle. It’s an innovation that is not just smart but intuitively yours.
“This change allows us to better utilize the device’s space, explore new layouts, and make structural improvements while keeping performance top-notch”, teased Lau in a community forum post.
OnePlus didn’t share all of the specs but has previously teased at a smaller 6.32-inch display (compared to the OnePlus 13’s spacious 6.82-inch screen), an at minimum 6000 mAh battery capacity and confirmed that the phone will run OnePlus and Oppo’s ColorOS 15 software out of the box (via GSMArena).
The more compact design and screen is something our mobiles editor Lewis Painter is particularly excited about, especially if the phone carries the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and 6000 mAh battery as the OnePlus 13. The OnePlus 13 already delivered up to two days of battery life in some instances, so a smaller screen could potentially push beyond even that.
