According to information shared by France 3 et The Parisianthe board of directors of Île-de-France Mobilités intends to adopt this Friday a new increase of 2.3% for the Navigo pass. We’ll spare you the calculation to reveal the painful truth directly: the Ile-de-France transport subscription is about to cross the symbolic barrier of €90 to reach €90.80 per month.
This means that an annual Navigo pass with automatic renewal will cost a total of €998.80 per year (because this formula includes one free month), while users who recharge their pass every month (on the smartphone in particular) will pay €1089.60 throughout the year. An annual, regulated increase to protect users
Île-de-France Mobilité explains that these regular but regulated increases make it possible to avoid drastic increases. An agreement concluded in 2023 under the government of Elisabeth Borne established a tariff shield applicable until 2031, so that the annual increase does not exceed “inflation rate + 1%“. For 2026, the calculated rate is therefore 2.3%.

Note that, according to France 3this increase should also affect the Imagine R package for young students and apprentices under 26 years old. These users or their families must now pay €401 for the 2026-2027 school year, compared to €392.30 previously. At these prices, Ile-de-France residents will become even more intransigent regarding the punctuality of transport, and rightly so.
