Bring a series to life without its beating heart. This is the challenge that Netflix must take up with The Witcher. Since the departure of Henry Cavill, the platform must prove that the new interpreter of Geralt de Riv has all the qualities to bring the future of the continent on his shoulders. After a summary teaser, the trailer revolves around the pot and limits the appearance of Liam Hemsworth to the strict minimum.
If it is necessary to wait for the broadcast of the series to judge its performance, within a ship which takes water anyway, we can already note a radical change in tone. There is no longer any question of betting on the taciturn personality of the witchman … but we will not play the bad people auspicious.

A fragmented continent
After the final of season 3, the continent is more fragmented than ever. To the north, we are concerned about seeing Nilfgaard gain ground. Aretuza flew into pieces, the Academy of Magicians lost its influence. It is in Yennefer that the responsibility is now responsible for making him find his power and bringing together the survivors.
Ciri, for his part, is now evolving alongside rats under a new identity while his double seat with his father Ehmyr. And finally, Geralt constitutes a troop of valiant adventurers with whom he hopes to find his protégé. A whole program for a season which must prepare the grand finale.
Big change in VF
Henry Cavill’s departure brings a new change that may cringe a few teeth. Adrien Antoine leaves the vocal distribution of the serieshe who is the regular French voice of Cavill. He gives way to Emmanuel Garijo. The actor is known to have embodied Stitch at Disney or Hayden Christensen.
The meeting is therefore made for the Next October 30 on Netflix. Eight episodes will be offered. Note that season 5 is in development and that it should be broadcast next year on the American platform. The red n seems to want to precipitate the end of the trip after having suffered lively failures.
