Forget Disneyland, Disney World and other Mickey Mouse tourist destinations: Universal is preparing to revolutionize the world of amusement parks. Next year, the entertainment giant’s Florida resort will receive a third park alongside Universal Studios Orlando and Islands of Adventure. First name Universal Epic Universe, this new must-see place on the American east coast promises an immersion rarely seen in the world of theme parks. At the center of numerous rumors since the beginning of its construction, the destination has finally revealed all of its specificities in a vast communication effort organized by Universal. Trailer, concept arts and 3D simulations: everything is there for a virtual dive before the grand inauguration.
Epic Universe will have no trouble achieving great success with visitors. By bringing together the most popular worlds of pop culture in a single place, the park fascinates people even before it opens. This convergence of universes is represented using an astral theme which will occupy the heart of Epic Universe, called Celestial Park. This central part will host some attractions including a surprising rollercoaster, as well as numerous shops, restaurants and even a luxury hotel. This magical hub will be surrounded by four different lands, which visitors can reach via portals. In an effort to immerse you, the side worlds will be invisible from Celestial Park, but will be recognizable using structures adorning the teleportation portals.
It will then be possible to reach the Mushroom Kingdom and the Jungle of Kongs in Super Nintendo WorldParisian wizards in the first land Wizarding World of Harry Potter of French inspiration, Toothless and Harold in a reproduction of the island of Berk from Dragons and finally the great monsters of Universal such as Frankenstein and Dracula in the Dark Universe. All of these themed zones will benefit from Universal’s latest innovations in terms of immersion and promise a spectacular spectacle to say the least. But why be interested in this park located on the other side of the globe? Quite simply because the enthusiasm it arouses could well affect the development of the first Universal park located in Europe.

A preview of the future European park?
At the end of 2023, Universal formalized the development of a park near London. This first European destination is only in its early stages while the entertainment giant negotiates with local authorities. This did not prevent a few leaks from revealing several details regarding Universal’s ambitions. The park should be inspired by the structure of its Chinese counterpart located in Beijing, built to suit local weather conditions. Unlike American destinations, Universal Great Britain should therefore have a few indoor areas and a minority of aquatic attractions.

✨ Universal Rumours
As you may have seen by now, there have been newly released rumours about a Universal Great Britain resort. I’ve been following these for some weeks now, and now me and @aalllllyyyyyy are sharing a first look at a concept art for this project.

The first concept art discovered shows a park with dimensions and structure close to those of Epic Universe. The new British tourist destination could therefore benefit from a similar level of detail and equally attractive licenses. If all this is not yet set in stone, the project portends great things for theme park aficionados. And you, what worlds would you like to discover in this first Universal park within train reach?
