GROCERY giant Trader Joe’s has hit customers with a crucial disclaimer – and it may affect you shopping bill.
The supermarket chain has informed shoppers that they will have to keep an eye out during a chaotic period as prices may change.

On the Trader Joe’s website, the retailer has put up a notice for all customers to see.
It relates to the current economic situation in the US and worldwide.
The notice is informing customers that the details of their advertised products may change depending on global circumstances.
This could hamper prices as well as availability.
For example, on Trader Joe’s Unexpected Cheddar Cheese Spread online page, there is a notice underneath the product details.
Trader Joe’s explained that customers should contact customer support for more information on prices and availability.
The retailer said: “Since posting, the details of this item may have changed due to fluctuating market prices, federal regulations, currency rates, drought, bandits, rush hour traffic, filibusters, zombie apocalypse, punctilious product developers.”
They added: “Contact our Crew for current price and availability.”
This notice aimed to inform the public of the ongoing tariff war between US President Donald Trump and China, and how it may affect products.
They buried their warning under an ironic comment- explaining that unexpected events such as “zombie apocalypses” or “bandits” may be responsible for the changes.
Trader Joe’s appear to have added the notice for global uncertainty under all of their online goods.
No other major US supermarkets have appeared to add a notice of a similar tone.
It comes after Americans were urged to rush to the shops to pick up essential items before Trump’s sweeping global tariffs kicked in.
US citizens will likely have to bear the brunt of their president’s “brutal” tariff rollout which could leave them paying more for items including shoes, furniture, coffee and even cars.
Trillions of dollars were wiped back off US stock markets last Wednesday after the White House confirmed tariffs on China would rocket to 145 per cent.
It also comes after a beloved supermarket chain that rivals Trader Joe’s was set to close two more locations.
And in February, food fans raced to Trader Joe’s to get their hands on its tasty new treat.
The retail giant’s flavor sensation was a hit with hungry shoppers.
