DEAD RECKONING
Climax of cut-throat battle to inherit fortune
IT’S THE FINAL week of Channel 4’s devious new game – The
Inheritance!
Over the past few weeks we have seen 13 strangers battle it out at a grand country estate to earn a slice of the huge fortune left by a glamorous benefactor known only as “The Deceased”, played by Elizabeth Hurley.
As the final approaches, here’s the lowdown on what has happened so far.
Players cut
We always knew The Deceased had a passion for games but who could
have guessed she’d be quite so ruthless?
Despite their best efforts to rake in the most cash for the group, several
players have already been cut out of the will.
Who has made it to the final round? And will one player walk away with
everything?
Tasks set
As the episodes have unfolded, The Deceased’s tasks have become
increasingly outrageous.
They’ve included designing two identical gardens separated by a hedge
maze that made communication a real challenge and hunting down
boxes filled with The Deceased’s secrets.
This wealthy benefactor definitely had skeletons in her closet – and she
makes the contestants work hard for her fortune.
Alliances broken?
From the very start, alliances began to form among the contestants.
But will they survive as the stakes get higher?
Some team players have been giving their all in every task; others seem to keep them out of the Strong Room for their own advantage.
With cracks starting to appear in existing bonds, the big question is: will
teamwork triumph or will self-interest take over?
To see the drama unfold and find out who becomes the ultimate
beneficiary, watch or stream The Inheritance on Channel 4
