Death Of A Unicorn (July 25)
A24 has a bunch of movies coming to Max this month, but the most interesting is Death of a Unicorn, a twisted black comedy starring Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega as a father and daughter on a weekend getaway who accidentally run over a unicorn with their car. When the creature’s blood is found to have miraculous healing properties, things quickly spiral out of control and its parents show up to exact revenge.

AEW Special Events (July 25)
HBO Max’s partnership with upstart wrestling company All Elite Wrestling allows them to present a panoply of the group’s best shows from the past, and in July they’re dropping 2023 and 2024 libraries that feature their top stars in thrilling matches with daredevil moves and compelling stories. Whether you’re a fan of anxious millennial cowboy Adam Page, self-parodic starlet “Timeless” Toni Storm, or Twisted Metal-starring bruiser Samoa Joe, you’ll find a lot to love here.

Worst Cooks In America: Season 29 (July 29)
Of all the various competition shows that Food Network broadcasts, Worst Cooks In America has the best schadenfreude factor. People who can’t even boil water are put under the tutelage of top chefs and have to get their skills in the kitchen up quick or be eliminated. With the sudden shocking death of frequent host Anne Burrell, the show is in limbo, but her last season is coming to Max on July 29.
