Apple is gearing up for one of the most anticipated halftime performances in a while, for a wide variety of reasons. Watch the trailer below.
Super Bowl LX is scheduled for February 8
Last September, Apple announced that Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny would be this year’s Super Bowl LX Apple Music Halftime Show headliner, marking his first time leading the halftime performance.
The artist had already appeared as a guest during Shakira and Jennifer Lopez’s act in 2020, but this will be his first return to the main stage as the sole headliner, and the first under Apple Music’s sponsorship rather than Pepsi.
At the time, Apple released a short teaser to mark the announcement. Today, the company released a full trailer, featuring the artist dancing to his song “BAILE INoLVIDABLE“, alongside people of multiple nationalities, styles, and cultures.

A show not without controversy
Given Bad Bunny’s background and context, controversy began to mount as soon as Apple announced him as the Super Bowl LX Apple Music Halftime Show last September.
A few days after the announcement, US Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem pledged that ICE would “be all over” the event, to which the NFL replied that it wasn’t considering dropping the act.
So far, Apple has managed to stay out of the controversy. Still, given recent developments, the new trailer being out, and the actual match fast approaching, that distance may become increasingly harder to maintain.
